Materuni Waterfall Day Tour Itinerary

07:30 AM - Hotel Pick-up
* Your guide will pick you up from your hotel in Moshi/Arusha in a comfortable vehicle. * Drive through lush banana and coffee plantations as you head towards Materuni Village, located at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro.

09:00 AM - Arrival at Materuni Village
* Warm welcome by the Chagga community.
* Brief introduction to the day's activities and a short history of the village.
 * Learn the traditional process of coffee cultivation, harvesting, and preparation.
* Get hands-on experience roasting, grinding, and brewing your own cup of aromatic Chagga coffee.
* Enjoy your freshly brewed coffee while taking in the stunning views of Kilimanjaro. 

11:00 AM - Guided Hike to Materuni Waterfall
* Embark on a scenic 45-minute hike through lush vegetation, crossing streams and spotting local flora and fauna.
* Marvel at the towering Materuni Waterfall, a 90-meter cascade surrounded by greenery.
* Take some time to relax, enjoy the serene environment, and even take a refreshing dip in the natural pool if you like!

01:30 PM - Traditional Lunch
* Return to the village and indulge in a delicious local Chagga meal.
* Sample dishes include banana stew, rice,

3:00 PM - Head back To Town
* Return back to town where you will be dropped off at your accommodation marking the end of the tour
