Upon arrive you will be picked up by our Wildgem Safari guide, after settling in he will give you a short brief on how your safari will go. You will then enjoy your evening and dinner at the famous Gran Melia before your wonderful Tanzania Safari starts in the morning.

Day 1: Moshi – Tarangire National Park
In the morning you will be collected from your hotel, by your personal Wildgem guide. You will then set out for Tarangire National Park on a good tarmac road across gently rolling Maasai plains with scattered acacia trees. As you zip along you will pass many Maasai in their colourful dresses along the roadsides, herding cattle and driving donkey’s carts. Tarangire National Park, well known for its large elephant herds, is also host to a multitude of other wildlife. From the open roof of our state of the art safari jeep you will experience the seasonal swamps, savanna and life giving Tarangire River endeavouring to encounter a multitude of creatures from zebra to wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and giraffe, to name but a few. If lucky you will glimpse lions stalking prey or leopards relaxing on trees.

Day 2: Tarangire – Serengeti Plains
Our next destination starts shortly after breakfast with a scenic drive up the Rift Valley escarpment to Serengeti National Park. You will be crossing Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority as we head for the Serengeti National Park, game driving along the way to the Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Serengeti Plains
After breakfast, you will have a full game drive in the Serengeti National Park. It is famous and well known for its annual migration of over 1.5 million white-bearded (or brindled) wildebeests and 250,000 zebra and for its numerous Nile crocodiles and honey badgers, that migration is the largest remaining unaltered animal migration. The Park is the center, piece of the Serengeti Ecosystem which is twice as large (and includes the neighboring Ngorongoro conservation Area and Maasai Mara National Reserve in bordering Kenya

Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
We depart from the Serengeti for an encore game drive in the Ngorongoro Crater.
Ngorongoro crater is famous for its different attraction which includes alkaline lakes, forest, and different vegetation, hot springs, different kinds of wildlife and birdlife and its landscape. Among the common wildlife in the crater includes; lion, leopard, zebra, elephant, African buffalo, warthog, hyena, wild dogs, the rare black rhino, wildebeest and varieties of migratory and resident birdlife whereby more than 350 different species have been recorded

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Lake Manyara - Moshi
After breakfast, check-out from lodge ready for safari to Lake Manyara National Park.
Heading to Lake Manyara National Park, you will travel through the beautiful views of rift Valley Escarpment and just before the park entrance you will drive through the small but busy town of Karatu.
Arriving at Lake Manyara, you will enter the park and start your game drive through lush forest and then out to open grassland and the lake edge. The birdlife in this park is a bird-watchers paradise, with many endemic species. If you’re lucky, you might see the famous tree climbing lions of Manyara. After lunch we will proceed with an afternoon game drive as you make your way out of the Park and drive back to Moshi for your drop off.
